1. This 16-second clip, and the lies he claims before and after it, shape a believable enough lie to succeed on 20% of ignorant sheeple, and that’s more than enough, if they can keep it up.
Side note – in typical fake news fashion, Anderson Cooper starts in with “by NOT criticizing Putin, or even mentioning his name, Trump is sending a clear message to Putin” – in other words just another example of the fact that CNN would make this shit up regardless of what he did or didn’t do.
2. Sounds like fake news, lets see the original video (2 min)
Original video from Rally speech in South Carolina February 10th, 2024 (9 days, not “a few weeks ago”) shows that CNN edited out all substantive context surrounding the 16 seconds they ran with, and the bs story framing it.
They even went the extra mile to mute the first 2 seconds of audio to sneakily hide the fact that he’s speaking in the past tense and mostly third person.
3. Ahh, the TRUTH is that Trump was telling a story about what HE ALREADY DID BACK IN 2019 (which was very successful, by the way, gaining praise from nearly every other leader for his “strong leadership.”)
In context, it’s clear that Trump was telling the story about his ultimatum to President Macron, the last holdout of the NATO members, 4 years ago, when he was the boss of the bosses. Remember this?
The entirety of NATO (majority of world leaders) witnessed and were PARTY to that conversation, as was crystal clear to each and every member of NATO – If you don’t pay up, you’re “delinquent,” and you’re on your own if Putin comes a knockin, because you have to pay your bills!
This 40 minute video from December 3, 2019 is one of Trump’s all time greatest performances and biggest wins, while he was on top of the world, and politically invincible (bio-weapons excepted).
Trump was so effective that the other NATO members agreed to pay $160 Billion immediately PLUS $400 Billion over 4 years.
4. PS Trump didn’t name him, but it was common knowledge at the time to whom he was speaking: Emmanuel Macron (President of France).
5. One week later, on December 10 2019, China [officially] recorded the first case of COVID-19, 19 days before the first official disclosure to the WHO, December 29, 2019.
